Which manufacturer is making the best solar panels at the moment?

Our solar panels are manufactured by the leading names in the industry, including Jinko, JA Solar, Qcells and Canadian Solar. The manufacturers listed here produce Tier 1-graded monocrystalline solar panels, regarded by independent analysts as solar panels of the highest quality in terms of their construction and performance. Their products are used in hundreds of thousands of residential, commercial and utility-scale applications throughout the world.

The purchase of a commercial or home solar PV system is a considerable outlay, and one that must provide the best possible return on investment and the best energy output over the course of the product’s lifespan. We therefore do not sell cheap copies or inferior imitations.

What’s your best price for a DIY solar kit?

Our all-in-one Home Solar Kits start from as little as £1850 (plus delivery). This includes a set of branded monocrystalline solar panels (3kW), a branded Mini-Inverter and a roof mounting set featuring rails, clamps and brackets. This represents superb value for money for any homeowner.

Our all-in-one Commercial Solar Kits start from as little as £3900 for a a 10kW set, again using leading products.

Which company manufactures your roof mounting system?
Our preferred supplier for the roof mounting systems included in our DIY Solar Kits is Schletter. A promotional video can be viewed here. Schletter have sold high quality aluminium and steel products for almost 60 years, with their solar division active since 2001. In excess of 40 million Schletter solar products (including rails, mid-clamps, end-clamps and brackets) have been installed worldwide.
Who delivers your products?
Larger orders (our all-in-one-kits) are despatched via our dedicated couriers who are experts in the safe delivery of solar panels. In most cases orders are despatched same-day or the following working day at the latest. Customers can track their progress on the road. Smaller orders (standalone Hybrid Inverters, for example) will be sent via a nationwide courier such as DPD or FedEx.
Do you know of any subsidies available for installing a PV system?
Not at the time of writing. The Feed-in Tariff closed in 2019 for new registrations. That said our very competitively-priced packages should make an investment in solar an attractive prospect in any case.
Is it worth investing in a PV system for my home or business?

With increasingly volatile energy markets and upward trends of energy prices, a solar PV system represents a worthwhile investment that could easily be repaid within a few years. Naturally the exact timescale for recovering the outlay costs will vary depending on current energy prices, the amount of energy consumed and the size of the PV installation. Prices have dropped considerably in recent years, even accounting for the manufacturing and supply disruption experienced in 2020 and 2021, while the energy output obtained in later models has significantly improved.

The initial costs could be covered in as little as five years.
